![]() Greenwood Automotive Camp Success - June 16-20, 2008Piedmont Technical College
If you like automotive technology, it doesn't get any better than this! Meet representatives from the major US auto manufacturers. See the efficiency of assembly line production of new cars. Experience NASCAR racing country. Camp Success is fun, educational and exciting! The camp lasts one week — the adventure lasts a lifetime. View Automotive Camp Success photos here. Camp will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., June 16-20. Each day begins with an exciting and diverse schedule of activities and field trips. You'll walk the assembly line at the BMW Assembly Plant and see how efficiently teams of technicians create a new vehicle before you take the wheel for a spin on the performance track. In Concord, North Carolina, you will see first hand what it's like to be in the midst of NASCAR racing country. Highlights will be touring the Hendrix Motorsports Headquarters and Roush Racing Museum. You'll also spend time with representatives from GM, Ford, Chrysler, Toyota, Nissan and BMW. If you are interested in a career in Automotive Engineering, this may be the most important summer camp you will ever attend! The cost to attend Automotive Camp Success is $95.
